The app will allow patients to register digitally in less than 60 seconds and schedule appointments.
Digital front door platform company Amenities Health is partnering with healthcare provider Ascend Medical to develop an app to allow patients to complete digital registration in less than 60 seconds and schedule appointments online via a tool that sorts appointments by the earliest available times and closest proximity.
Ascend Medical created a white label mobile app that uses Amenities Health’s API and its deep link integration with the AthenaOne EHR.
A white label mobile app is a pre-built app that a company can rebrand and customize to use as its own. Deep link integration is the use of (custom) URL schemes to direct users to specific pages within an app, enhancing user engagement and retention and improving conversion rates.
“AthenaOne EHR is the backbone of Ascend Medical’s operational framework, and this integration with Amenities Health represents a significant step forward in delivering care,” Tom Bowen Wright, president of Ascend Medical, said in a statement.
“By streamlining the online registration and scheduling process, we not only improve the digital patient experience but also enhance care coordination, ensuring a more accurate and efficient workflow from initial contact to follow-up.”
Aasim Saeed, founder and CEO of Amenities Health, explained that Ascend Medical’s use of its technology exemplifies the “next frontier in healthcare,” where digital convenience meets personalized care.
“The platform we’ve developed together allows for an effortless, intuitive experience akin to today’s best-in-class consumer applications, enabling rapid patient acquisition and fostering long-term brand loyalty,” Saeed said in a statement.
THE LARGER TREND
In 2024, Amenities Health was selected for the Microsoft for Startups Pegasus Program. The program supports high-potential startups, empowering Microsoft’s customer base to harness cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions to enhance digital healthcare experiences and streamline operations.

Panda assesses and pre-vets thousands of digital health vendors so that healthcare leaders can narrow the field and expedite the selection process.
In 2023, Amenities Health closed a Series A financing round. The company secured an additional $6.25 million, putting Amenities’ total amount raised at $10 million.
The round was led by Memorial Innovation Fund, a strategic healthcare investment fund wholly owned by MemorialCare Health System. Epic Ventures, which led Amenities’ seed round, and HealthTech also participated in the round.
